At the Library of Congress

Larissa (Lari) is a professional librarian. Before settling in Washington, she lived in Florida, Idaho, Utah, Texas and Hawaii. She spends most of her time getting into creative mischief with her favorite artist and two kids.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in English, she worked as a copywriter for a web hosting company for a year before pursuing a career and education in librarianship. She excelled in her graduate studies and earned a Master of Science in Library Science with honors and a 2009 American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship.

Larissa loves literature that features uncommon perspectives, and she’s worked for four public libraries in three different states.

She’s also had a short story published in a literary anthology called “Creative Colloquy Volume 2” under the pseudonym Morgan Le Grey.
